Janet Leigh Harmon

Janet Leigh Harmon, 67, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Wilson, and brother, Daniel Wright. Left to cherish memory are her loving husband of forty-nine years, Michael Wayne Harmon; mother, Dorothy Dailey (Charlie); sisters, Linda, Paula, and Lisa; as well as her faithful furry companion, Angel. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home chapel. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Franklin Memorial Park, in Rocky Mount. Pastor Junior Westmoreland will be officiating.
