James P. Jim Weikle, Jr. 66, of Salem, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was born in West Virginia, a son of the late James P. Weikle, Sr. and Lucille Medley Weikle and had lived most of his life in Salem. Jim loved and enjoyed the outdoors, playing his guitar and was an avid car lover. He enjoyed going to and participating in car shows, at which he won many awards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Weikle. He is survived by his loving son, Tony Weikle; two grandsons Anthony and Lance Weikle; sisters-in-law, Pam Epperly (Mickey) and Pat Foutz (Jay); a step-daughter, Lynn Carter; step-grandson, Chris Carter, as well as aunts, uncles, several cousins and many friends. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all family members and friends for all of their support and love during Jims illness. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Roanoke Memorial Hospital Tenth Floor South for all of the care and kindness shown as well during this time. Jim was a wonderful and loving person and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at John M.
