James Wayne Tayloe

James Wayne Tayloe, born May 25, 1948, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He is predeceased by his father, Eugene G. Tayloe. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Joyce; daughter, Ashley Tayloe-Switzer (Scott); son, James Logan; mother, Gladys; brothers, Gene (Mary) and Lanny (Anne); several nieces and nephews; and numerous beloved Dooley in-laws. James was a life-long employee of Lawrence Companies and considered those he worked for and with his family. During his life and work, he met many people and was blessed that many became his friend. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. Burial services will be private.
