James G. Smith Jr.

James Gordon Smith, Jr., 59 of Roanoke, VA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 02, 2011. He was born July 4, 1951 in Roanoke, VA son of the late James G. Smith, Sr. and Hazel LeSueur Smith. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Jason Smith. Mr. Smith was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 30 years of faithful service. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way organization. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Caleb G. and Sandi Smith; four grandchildren, Zoe, Bowen, Daylen Smith and Mia Smith; and former wife and best friend, Shelly Taylor.
