James Lee Hamblett

James Jim L. Hamblett, 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at his home in Salem, Va. after a battle with cancer. He was born on August 8, 1963, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Hamblett. Also predeceasing him was a brother, Tommy; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Joyce Anderson. Jim had a long successful career at Graham-White where he was cherished and loved by all that knew him. Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce Hamblett; children, Logan Hamblett and wife, Devin, Kelly Hamblett and fiance, Carrie Ford; sisters, Donna Lee and husband, Barry, and Polly Robinson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Mary Painter, Keith and Elizabeth Cottle, John and Christy Anderson, Steve and Theresa Anderson, Sheree McCormack and Bob Yeatts, and Mike Anderson; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family pays this tribute to him: Jim was a thoughtful soul who loved everyone and would lend a helping hand anytime it was needed. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend that will be sorely missed. The family will receive visitors from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019, in the John M.
