James Germann Jr.

James Arthur Germann Jr., 70, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Born on November 23, 1955, James was the son of the late James Germann Sr. and Elizabeth Helen Wilbert.

James is survived by his three children, James A. Germann III and his fiancée, Thuy, Lori A. Ballard and her husband, Mike, and Mindy S. Perdue and her husband, Jimmy. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Michala, Jonothan, Jacob, and Kyle.

A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, November 9, 2026, at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel located at 305 Roanoke Boulevard in Salem, Va. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:30 p.m., and the memorial service will begin at 5:30 p.m.
