Jack Lloyd Brookman

Jack Lloyd Brookman, 84, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Mr. Brookman was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from General Electric after 36 years. His favorite hobby was collecting, building, and admiring street rods. Preceding him in death were his parents, Amos and Margaret Brookman. His surviving family includes his wife of 56 years, Barbara Brookman; son, Scott Brookman; and grandchildren, Madeline and Juliette Brookman. The family extends sincere thanks to special friends, Wayne and Joy Prosperi as well as Betty Mowbray for their enduring friendship and help. A period of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
