Howard P. Shrader

Howard P. Shrader, 76, passed away on October 3, 2012. He was born on October 15, 1935 in McComas, WV, the son of the late George Thomas and Nora Virginia Lusk Shrader. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmie Shrader, Eugene Shrader, and Junior Wayne Shrader. Howard served in the National Guard, where he received top honors in marksmanship. He loved fishing and being in the outdoors. He loved nature and animals of all kinds. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Myrna Wright Shrader; two daughters, Debbie Alldredge and her husband Gary, and Rhonda Wise and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Morgan Wise and Scott Wise; step-granddaughter, Alexandria Alldredge; brother, Larry Shrader; sisters, Shirley Love and Phyllis Neal, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. A funeral service honoring Howards life will be conducted on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 1pm, in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Roy Kanode officiating.
