Hobie Lee Montgomery

Hobie L. Montgomery, 76, of Salem, Va., and formerly of Hillsville, Va., passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lincoln and Myrtle Montgomery; brother, Albert Montgomery; and beloved dog, Taco. His surviving family includes his wife of 43 years, Ann Montgomery; several brothers and sisters; step-daughter, Teresa Fink; step-sons, Joseph Hogan and Garland Hogan; special grandson, Troy Lester; several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren. Special appreciation is extended to Lewis-Gale Medical Center for their wonderful care. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the John M.
