Hilaria Elaine Hanes

Hilaria Elaine Hanes, 72, of Salem, went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 8, 2019. She is remembered for being a devoted housewife and mother. It is said family was everything to her. She was a dedicated member of the Salem Church of Christ She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Hanes; parents, Hillary and Florence Coleman; brother, Joe Coleman; sister, Gail Bond; brother, Phillip Coleman; and sister, Vivian Caldwell. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Ann Hanes; son, Michael Hanes; sisters, Sylvia Johnson and Joyce Coleman; and granddaughter, Ashley Hanes. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019, at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park in the Abbey.
