Helen Louise Bailey Price. Helen Louise Bailey Price, 87, of Salem, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Princeton, WVA and located to the Salem area over forty years ago. She was employed for 24 years at the Green Market prior to retiring and enjoyed cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, clothes and television. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Euell Blake Bailey and Raymond Price, as well as a daughter, Nadine Hansen and son, Euell B. Bailey, Jr. She is survived by three children, Thelma Harvey and her husband Gordon of Annapolis, MD; Bernard Bailey and his wife Elaine of Winston-Salem, NC; Terry Bailey and his wife Vickie of Salem; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a close family friend, Susan Townley of Salem. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Roy Kanode will officiate.
