Helen Barker Morgan

Helen Barker Morgan, 90, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. She was retired from General Electric after 25 years of service and was a longtime member of the Salem Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charley and Orla Barker of Pocahontas, WV; and husband, William Robert Morgan. Her surviving family includes her daughters, Carolyn Saferight and Mary Beth Calhoun and husband, John; granddaughter, Elizabeth Kovach and husband, Dave; and nephew, Billy Fadorick. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A graveside service will then follow at 1 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park with Rev. Eric Evans officiating. An online guestbook is available at www.johnmoakey.com.
