Haden Ewell Wade

Haden E. Wade, 88 of Salem, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 24, 2023. Born Sunday, August 5, 1934, to the late Luther Wade and Viva L. Surface Wade in Roanoke, Virginia. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Lackey Wade; brothers, Clifton Wade, John Wade, and Leonard Wade; sister, Ruth Wade Beheler. Left to cherish his memory is daughter, Laurel M. Wade; son David B. Wade; grandchild, Matt Wade; and three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 2 pm, with Pastor Hilton Jeffreys officiating.
