Gwendolyn Marie Mama Crowe (Hawkins) Crowe, 70, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018.
Gwen was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Crowe, Sr.; and parents, Lawrence and Mildred Hawkins.
Left to cherish her memory are son, Roy M. Crowe, Jr.; grandsons, Seth Eads, Bentley Crowe, and Gavin Crowe; sisters, Linda Moses, Patsy Ingle, Judy Dulaney, and Nellie Perkins; brothers-in-law, Kermit Crowe and wife, Sue, and Clifford Crowe and wife, Sherry; sisters-in-law, Laura Jones and husband, Les, and Margie Wildblood; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A period of visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the funeral home with Chaplin Dave Vanderpool officiating. An interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
