Goldie Lee Heck

Goldie Lee Heck, 63, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011. Preceding her in death were her parents, John T. and Cora Lee Westmoreland; her loving husband, Steve Heck; and brother, Harless E. Westmoreland. Surviving family includes her son, Steve Wilson Heck, Jr.; brothers, Johnny Westmoreland and wife, Kitty, James Westmoreland, Doug Westmoreland and fiance, Brenda Horne, and Roy Westmoreland and wife, Vicky; sisters, Amanda Beckner and Linda Altizer; and 17 nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. A period of visitation will be held on both Saturday and Sunday, February 5 and 6, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. each evening at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home's chapel. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke.
