Glen Awalt Rosendahl

Glen Awalt Rosendahl, 85, died Thursday, September 7, 2017, due to heart disease. He is predeceased by his son, Gar Rosendahl and grandsons, Andrew and Samuel Rosendahl. He is survived by a sister LuElla Pitkin, his wife of 61 years Jean nee Anderson, daughter Jodi (Mark) Henrickson, sons Jon and Greg Rosendahl, daughter-in-law Cheryl Rosendahl, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Glen was a veteran of the Korea Conflict, was graduated from Luther College, Decorah, IA, and retired from the Atlantic Mutual Insurance Company. He was an active member of College Lutheran Church, serving as church administrator for 11 years. His many interests included refugee resettlement efforts (the furniture guy), international travel, cycling 1000s of miles, gardening, and above all, golf. A memorial service will be held at College Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 16, at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
