Geraldine Conti Williams

Geraldine Conti Williams, 80, of Salem, VA passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010. She was born August 4, 1929 in Keystone, WV daughter of the late Frank and Lydia Roberts Conti. Mrs. Williams was a retired Registered Nurse from the VA Medical Center with thirty years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth, member of the Italian-American Heritage Club, member of the Lewis Gale Alumni Association and graduated from nursing school in 1950. She is survived by her loving husband Jessie Williams; two sons, Gregg Williams and wife, Betty and Paul Williams and wife, Ruby; grandchildren, John and Matt Williams and Charles and Jesse Williams; and a sister, Mildred Blankenship. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son Funeral and Cremation Service with Father Joseph H. Lehman officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
