Geraldine Watson Watts

Gerri Watts, 70, of Salem, joined her parents, Jessie and Zelma Watson, in Heaven on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Gerri was exceptionally loving and giving. She had a huge heart, and loving others is what made her happy. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Family left to cherish her memory include her children, Linda Thompson and husband Johnny, Paul Watts and wife Jessica, and Julie Saunders and husband Brian; their father, George Watts; grandchildren, Andrew, Corey, and Callie Thompson, Colby, Urijah, and Gabriel Watts, and Jessica Barlow, Jennifer McPherson, and Brandon Saunders; and great-grandchildren, Kate and Declan Barlow. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 6 until 8 pm at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A memorial service to honor Gerris life will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Lauridsen officiating.
