George Steven Wright

George Steven Wright, 69, of Salem and formerly of Wytheville Va, went to be with the lord on May 10th, 2024. Those who have preceded him in death include his parents, William and Ada Wright; and sister, Grace Halsey. George was an avid outdoorsman. One of his greatest pleasures in life was bass fishing. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Southern rock. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Trina Wright; and siblings, Mary Mccloud, Rose Leigh Carter, Ann Wampler, James B. Wright, and Larry Bralley. The family will receive friends in the John M. Oakey and Son chapel in Salem on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 pm with a memorial service to begin directly following the visitation with Chaplain Greg Irby officiating.
