Gayle Morris Divers went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2019. Quality of life was a cornerstone for Gayle, and exercise, proper nutrition, and natural healing were crucial to her. Regularly on the go, Gayle spent important parts of her life in the Roanoke Valley, Hot Springs, Alleghany County as well as Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was a successful businesswoman who owned and operated Gayle Dunn, Ltd. and Photo Maps. She loved entertaining, interacting with and caring for others, and great food, good wine, and stylish dress were hallmarks of her life. Gayle had a big heart and was an awesome mom and Muz. Gayle was born on August 4, 1938, to Edna and George Morris, affectionally known as Nana and Daddy Doe to many. Although former spouses Chuck Dunn and Doug Divers predeceased her, she had eventful and meaningful adventures with both of them. Gayle is survived by her only child Doug Henson, daughter-in-law Andrea, precious granddaughter Morgan, grandson Kyle Moir as well as sister Jeanne Reid and niece Lisa Korona. A memorial service and celebration of Gayle's life will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 4608 Brambleton Ave. If you want to honor Gayle, be kind and regularly demonstrate your love for God and others.
