Gary Raymond Myers

Gary Raymond Myers, 70, of Salem, Va went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2026.

Born July 25, 1956, in Roanoke, Va to the late Paul Raymond Myers and Roma Ann Floyd Myers.

Gary was the loving husband of Karen Crotts Myers, with whom he shared 46 wonderful years of marriage. He was a simple, loving man who found the greatest joy in his family. Gary loved and adored his children and grandchildren, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid collector of guns. Gary will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle nature, and unwavering love for his family. His presence brought comfort and happiness to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Karen, Gary is survived by his children, Melissa Williamson, Sara Myers, Perry Myers (Tiffany); grandchildren, Tyler and Waylon Williamson, Kennedy and Ella Myers, Carleigh, Brantley, and Raegan Myers; siblings, Teresa Hambrick (Clifton), Mark Myers (Jenny), Tammy Myers; he is also survived by his special niece, Ashley Crotts Kassebaum and 2nd son, James Morgan Green.

A service to celebrate Gary's life will be held at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home located in Salem, VA on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
