Gale Denise Myers

Gale Denise Casey, 62, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at LewisGale Medical Center after a difficult battle with her respiratory health. She was born Wednesday, March 28, 1956 in Roanoke, VA. Gale was preceded in death by parents, Midge Casey and Earl Casey; brother, Glen Casey; husband, Kim Myers. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joshua Myers and Christine Myers; grandson, Zain; and numerous friends whom she loved. Gale loved much and deeply including all things NASA, snow, the mountains, butterflies, lillacs wildlife, watching movies ,and attending Salem football games. A visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A private burial will be held at a later date.
