Franklin Delano Francisco

Franklin Delano Francisco, 70, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. His surviving family includes his wife of 11 years, Brenda D. Francisco; stepchildren, Leslie E. Long, Rev. Scott A. Butcher and wife, Ann, and Debbie B. Sylvester and husband, Randy; several grandchildren; brothers, Richard Francisco, Marvin Francisco, and Melvin Francisco; and sister, Norma Jean Lipscomb. The family extends a special thanks to Salem Dialysis, Melvin Francisco, and others who have helped during this time of loss. A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the funeral homes chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The Rev. Scott Butcher will officiate.
