Fairy Belle Stanley, 89, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Dorma Coleman; loving husband, Jack Stanley; her daughter, Brenda Gibson; three brothers, Harlan, Glenn and Bernard Coleman, Jr., and two sisters, Inez Lanter and Jean Carty. She is survived by her son, Barry Stanley; grandchildren, Ian Stanley, Justin Stanley and wife, Salina, Kirsten Stanley, Daniel Stanley and Stephen Cooley; great-grandchildren, Cassius Stanley, Cassidy Stanley, Lazarus Zinovis, Sage Stanley, Colin Brock, and Preston Settle. Also surviving are sister, Aline Crockett; sister-in-law, Alma Coleman; brother-in-law, Bill Carty, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Services will be held at 11AM Friday, May 26, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
