Evan Lee Pruitt, 40, died on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in Eugene, Ore. He was born on January 11, 1984, in Roanoke, Va. Evan attended Roanoke County Schools and graduated from Cave Spring High School with the Class of 2002. He worked as a cook in various restaurants in Roanoke and Eugene. Even was predeceased by his mother, Rita R. Krantz; and stepfather, Kevin Krantz. Survivors include his father, James E. Skip Pruitt of Roanoke, Va.; great-aunts, Gina Hyer and Dean Dorathy, both of Salem, Va.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. All services are being held privately by his family.
