Elizabeth Ann Stump Parcell, 74, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Robert Bobby and Annie Belle Stump. Elizabeth was raised in the Salem area, worked as a cook, and was well known for her Chili. She could be found serving or cooking at Eat Well Chili Shop, in Roanoke, or at home with her family, fixing her Lemon Pound Cake or her famous Rolls. Elizabeth was a member of the Roanoke First Church of the Nazarene. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Everett Vance Parcell Jr., and a brother Bobby Carson Stump. Those left to cherish her memories are two sons Gary and Alan Musser, four daughters, Sharon Musser Bowman; Tina Bell Phillips; Debra Parcell Correll; Wanda Susan Parcell, one sister-in-law Ruth Stump, a special relative Kenneth Stanley, thirteen grand-children, six great-grandchildren, one niece, and many friends and loyal customers. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:00am with Pastor Reggie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Franklin County.
