Elijah A. Nelson

It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the passing of Elijah Alexander Nelson, 16, who left this world far too soon on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Though his time here was brief, his impact was immeasurable. Born on Thursday, February 19, 2009, he was truly a one-of-a-kind young man with a beautiful soul, a sharp mind, and a presence that made life brighter for everyone who knew him.

From an early age, Elijah displayed a curiosity about the world that made him not just smart, but wise beyond his years. He had a remarkable talent for creating video games and possessed extensive technological knowledge that was truly impressive.

Although his life ended much too soon, the memories he gave are everlasting. His family will remember his laughter, his limitless potential, and the light he brought to every day. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all those blessed enough to love him.

Elijah is survived by his parents, Chancery Nelson and Jessica Pierce; siblings, Hannah, Ben, Embry, and Kaiden; stepmom, Brandy Taylor; grandmothers, Sue Nelson and Karen Dolan.

His grandfather, Darrel Nelson, and his cousin, Brianna Nelson, have preceded him in death.
