Edwin Leon Williams, Iii

Edwin L. Williams, III of Roanoke, VA passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 while on a trip to Peru, South America. He was born July 24, 1964 a son of the late Dr. Edwin L. Williams, II and Jean Bane Williams. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Jon Williams. He is survived by two sisters, Julia Davis and Amy Rickman and husband, Rocky; Six nephews, Leon Davis and wife, Kristi, Isaiah Rickman and wife, Stephanie, Jesse Rickman, Andrew Davis, Stewart Davis and Vincent Davis; three great-nieces and nephew, Kaylin Jean, Noelle Elyse and Landon Thomas. Eddie was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School Class of 1983 and a graduate of Roanoke College Class of 1987. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 2 pm Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home and Crematory, Salem with Rev. Stephen Bray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Rescue Mission of Roanoke. Service Details.
