Edna Darlene Ruble Lambert

Edna Darlene Ruble Lambert, 75, of Salem and formerly of Bluefield, WV, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene. Preceding her in death was her father, Calvin Clayton Ruble; and siblings, Clayton Ruble, Jean Patteson, and Marjorie Roland. Her surviving family includes her mother, Louise Ruble of Bluefield, WV; husband of 54 years, Clyde Lambert of Salem; children, Cheri Lambert of Salem, Linda Weddle and husband, Dexter, of Salem, Lisa Lambert of Salem, and Nichole Jones of Salem; brothers, Glen Ruble and wife, Phyllis, of Bluefield WV, Preston Ruble of Bluefield, WV, Robert Ruble and wife, Linda, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and William Ruble of Bluefield, WV; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; one great-grandchild; and one great-grandchild on the way. The family wishes to thank the staff of Carilion Hospice for their wonderful care. A period of visitation will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the funeral homes chapel. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery. The Rev.
