Edna Mae "Bess" Crawford

Edna Mae Bess Crawford, 85, of Salem, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. Bess is remembered for being a genuinely loving and caring wife and mother. Bess spent many years serving students in the cafeterias of the Salem Public School System. Bess is preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Gleaves Jessee; son, Mitch Crawford; sisters, Margie Brooks, Louis Phillips, and Peggy Pearcy; as well as her brothers, Garland Ike, Chuck, Clayton, and Marvin Jessee. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of sixty years, Luther Crawford; daughter, Lisa Engelke (Karl); siblings, Jean Vencill, Esta Maynard, as well as Arland Mouse Jessee and her special friend Karson Krsul.
