Dwain Nicholas Mcknight

Dwain Nicholas McKnight, 58, of Salem, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. He was born in Mount Airy, NC, a son of the late Albert N. McKnight and Elsie Horton McKnight of Salem, and had been an area resident most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Joyce McKnight; three daughters, Jessica Dickerson, Valerie McKnight, and Mary Joyce McKnight-Factor and her husband Allan; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Kenneth, Devin, Gabrielle, Aaron, Jazper, Jazmin, Chad and Lance; as well a nephew, Sean McKnight and his wife Arianna. A memorial service will be held at 4PM, Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home and Crematory. Dawn Taylor will officiate.
