Dustin Joseph Martin

Dustin J. Martin, 27, of Salem, Va., passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born in Connecticut on March 21, 1990, and had been a Salem area resident for the past seven years. He had a passion for music, especially his guitar. Dustin is survived by his parents, Patricia and Kevin Martin; his brother and sister, Lane and Kelsey; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Florien Curley; paternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Martin; his Uncle T.J., Uncle Russ, and Aunt Diana; and cousins, Jeremy and Jessica. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Va. The Rev. Jeff Dorsey will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
