Dreama Poff Ciafardini

Dreama Poff Ciafardini, 69, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Dot Poff; husband, Manuel Ciafardini; brothers, Mike Poff and Robin Poff; and sister, Sheila Lynn Maxey. Her surviving family includes her children, Kim Foster Thomas and husband, Kevin, and Steven Ciafardini; brother, Kevin Poff and wife, Frances; sisters, Carol Short and Debi Overstreet and husband, Sam; grandchildren, Kady Campbell and Kory Thomas; many special nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a beloved dog, Max. Dreama enjoyed her many hobbies including cross stitching, doll collecting, and stamp collecting. She was a wonderful mother, maw-maw, and sister who was lovingly devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by everyone. A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the funeral homes chapel. Interment will follow at Old Dominion Cemetery.
