Dorothy Lorene Robertson

Dorothy Robertson, 86, of Salem, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015. She was a long time resident of Salem and a member of Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Robertson, and by a sister, Alice Giles. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by a two daughters, Kay Atkins and Dave, and Wanda Shirah; a son Rick Bratton and wife Darlene; sister, Catherine Butler; four grandchildren, Kimberly Marshall and husband Alex, Erin Barger and wife Erika, David Atkins and Aimee, and Chelsea Skelley and husband Mark. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere thanks for the love, care and concern given by the staffs of Lewis Gale Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Salem Baptist Church. Rev. Everett Kier will officiate. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
