Donna Sue Nelson

Donna Sue Nelson of Salem passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was born a daughter of the late Basil Robert Nelson and Elizabeth Atlee Cravens in Kanawha, West Virginia. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a son, Larry Joe Kappa. She is survived by a son, R.K. Mitchem, Jr.; brother, Derek Nelson; grandchildren, Ryan Linkenhoker, Ashton Thompson, Jasmyn Gordon, Alora Kappa; great-granddaughter, Alydia Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Kanode officiating.
