Donna Elizabeth Charles

Donna Elizabeth Charles, 71, passed away June 28,2023, at Lewis Gale Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Roanoke, Va. to the late Marguerite and Donald Charles. She was a graduate of Cave Springs High School, class of 1971. Donna later attended Virginia Western Community College and Freed- Hardeman University before starting her career at the Salem VA Medical Center where she specialized in finance. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ Salem Va. and her during her times of leisure, you may have found her at home with her beloved cats, however her greater love was for son, Tommy Charles. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her brothers, Ken Charles (Sherry) of Christiansburg, Va., and Steve Charles (Judith) of Waynesboro; her sister, Peggy Simpson (Johnnie) of Cabot, Ark.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Charles. The family wishes to thank the caring and loving staff at Richfield Living, as she dearly loved them all!
