Dianne Hall Cupp

Dianne Hall Cupp, 69, of Thaxton and formerly of Roanoke and Elliston, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Octavia Moore; paternal grandparents, John and Luvnie Hall; parents, Willie Homer and Gloria N. Hall; brother, Paul Junior Hall; and stepmother, Frances Elizabeth (Hall) Flinchum. She is survived by her husband, Herman W. Cupp; son, Thomas "Randy" Randolph Jones; sisters, Brenda Davis and husband, John, Janie Sowder and husband, Ronnie, and Libby Bowman and husband, Earl; brother, John H. Hall and wife, Debbie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dianne loved her fur babies, Gracie, Penny, Prissy, and Bear as well as her fish. She also was a skilled decorator, gardener, and cook. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, with an hour prior visitation. A committal will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either The Roanoke Valley SPCA or Susan G. Komen Virginia Blue Ridge.
