Diane Guill Morris

Diane Guill Morris, age 76, of Roanoke, Va. passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, in Salem, Va. She was born to Helen "Freda" Graham Guill and the Late George Guill on Friday, October 9, 1942, in Roanoke, Va. Diane was a member of the Friendship Garden Club and loved the ceramics class at the Salem Senior Center. She was a Librarian for the Roanoke City Public Library retiring after 30 plus years of service. Diane was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her mother include her daughter, Christy Florow; son, Dr. Mike Morris, and wife, Dr. Madelyn Morris; grandsons, Blaine Florow and Hunter Florow; sister, Sue Crowder, and husband, Mike; and many other relatives and friends especially, Marty Gochenour. A celebration of her life will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Va. with Pastor Everett Kier officiating.
