Diana Bush Davis, 81, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, after a long fight with difficulty swallowing and breathing.


Diana was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 12, 1943. Her family then moved to Salem, Virginia, when she was four years old. She graduated from Andrew Lewis High School, then Roanoke College. Diana worked in hospitals in Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and lastly in Florida, where she was the CEO of the Manatee Community Blood Center.


She leaves behind her son, Robert Craig Davis; her sisters, Dottie Francisco and Debbie Myers; nephew, George Francisco; nieces, Maria Paitsel and Jennifer Patel; as well as grand-nephews, Samuel Paitsel, Ethan Paitsel, and Nikhil Patel.


Friends can visit Diana's family from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at College Lutheran Church in Salem, Virginia. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Pastor David Drebes officiating.
