Diana Lynn Conner

Diana Lynn Conner, of Salem, Va., passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Diana was born February 26, 1965 in Ventura, Calif., and was 55 years old. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Ellie Silas Skipper, Sr. and Carol Ann Gover Skipper. She also lost her sister, Kathy Skipper; and brother, Ellie Silas Skipper, Jr. Her surviving family includes her brothers, Paul T. Skipper, Thomas C. Skipper, David J. Skipper, Michael W. Skipper, and Eric Grey. As one of Jehovahs Witnesses, Diana enjoyed very regular Bible study. She liked sharing her faith and encouraging scriptures with others such as Psalm 34:18. Although she wasnt able to attend a four-year college, her accomplishments in her career made her family very proud of her. At one company, she was the International Coordinator. At her most recent company, she was a Business Support Associate & Coordinator. It is certain that Diana loved her Cargill work family such as Steve Nichols and others her family was unable to meet. During this difficult time, people have mentioned things such as Dianas kindness and quick sense of humor. She also enjoyed cooking for visiting family and bringing prepared meals to work. Dianas favorite flowers were tulips. She had dreams of visiting Italy. She dabbled at the piano, but was too shy to play for others. Diana loved her nephew, Brandon, and niece, Erica, children of David Skip Skipper. She homeschooled Erica for a time, and jumped at the opportunity to take Brandon to the petting zoo and other fun places. Diana was dearly loved by several congregations of Jehovahs Witnesses, her work family at Cargill, and especially by her brothers. The family would like to thank Diana so much. She is already missed with love by the Skipper family.
