Deward (Leon) Miller, 75, formerly of Salem, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Lawrenceville, GA. He is survived by his wife, Betty Miller of Buford, GA.; daughter, Gina Ringham and husband, Mike of Suwanee, GA.; daughter, Leigh Anne Miller and husband, Paul Sanchez of Roanoke VA; grand-daughter, Heather Miller and great grand-children, Calia and Cameron; Bettys sister, Linda and brother-in-law, Roy Jarrett; two sisters; two brothers; several nieces and nephews, and a special pet buddy (Daisy). He was retired from Overnite Transportation in Roanoke, VA. He was a great husband, father and friend who especially enjoyed trips to the beach, bowling, billiards, woodworking, car shows, NASCAR and grilling while relaxing at home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at John M.
