Debra W. Stump

Debra W. Stump, 57, of Salem, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011. She was born in Roanoke, a daughter of the late William and Lena Abbott Witt and had been an area resident all of her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Epps. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by a son, Jason Conner and his wife Ebony; a daughter, Valerie Conner and her companion Chris Jenks; two brothers, Danny Witt and his wife Wanda; Mike Witt and his wife Mary Ellen; two sisters, Lynnell Pruett and her husband Mike; Becky Wygal; six grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Friday, December 2, 2011 in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
