David Michael Hall

Our beloved David Michael Hall, 24, of Salem, VA was taken unexpectedly into the arms of our Lord on June 27, 2010. He was born May 28, 1986. A 2005 graduate of Salem High School, he was attending Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. He had a passion for cooking and wrestling. He was a Region III runner-up and a two-time State qualifier. David touched many lives and never met a stranger. He leaves behind many wonderful friends whom he loved dearly. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his grandfather James A. Wilbourne. He is survived by his parents Digs and Susie Hall. His loving sister Kathryn Hall. His brother and cooking partner R.J. Hall. His devoted grandparents Ron and Verna Hall and Katherine Wilbourne. A number of special aunts and uncles Kenny and Kim Tuell, John and Dawn Hall, Dan and Linda Wilbourne, and Chris Wilbourne and Tim and Karen Wilbourne. He had numerous cousins that he was very close to Steven and Amy Tuell, Sarah Hall, Jennifer, Jessica and Daniel Wilbourne, and Molly, Megan and Maggie Wilbourne. Always keepin' it real Boo Boo. We'll miss you. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday, July 2, 2010 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Salem with Rev. Adrian Dowell officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 3 to 7 pm at John M. Oakey and son. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Davids name to a charity of your choice.
