David Wayne Graham

David W. Graham, 53, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was born in Roanoke, the son of Mozelle Flinchum Graham and the late James William Graham and had been a Chesapeake area resident for over 19 years. He graduated from Cave Springs High School and was employed for many years at Lowes. David was an incredibly devoted family man who loved life, his girls, family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Judith Holmgren Graham; three daughters, Megan Williams and husband John, Jr., Elizabeth Gilliam and husband Benjamin, and Kasey Graham and long-time boyfriend Andrew OBrien; granddaughters, Madison Williams, Emily Williams and soon to arrive, Nora Gwen Gilliam; four brothers, William Graham, Greg Graham, Brad Graham and wife Rhonda, and Jason Graham and long-time girlfriend Susan Fradette. Also surviving are his parents-in-law, John and Jane Holmgren, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. The Rev. Mark Graham will officiate. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday (today) at the funeral home.
