Danny A. Conner Danny Allen Conner, 66, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy A. Conner, and a sister, Darline Yates. He is survived by his mother, Bertie Rucker Conner; two daughters, Dana Conner and Melissa Murray and her husband Todd; three brothers, Melvin Conner and his wife Marsha, Larry Conner and his wife Annette, and Ricky Conner and his wife Freda; two sisters, Shelva Spence and her husband Robert and Gloria Mounts and her husband Danny, brother-in-law William H. Yates, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2PM, Friday, November 11, 2011 at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Thursday at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
