Daniel Gregory "Greg" Boadwine

Daniel Gregory Boadwine passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Greg was born in Lexington, KY on November 26, 1984. Greg grew up in Salem, VA, and graduated from Glenvar High School in 2002. He worked for many years at Medeco Security Locks in Salem. Greg was an avid reader, skilled chess player, puzzle solver, Lego builder, and music lover. As a bowler, he once rolled a perfect game 300 in league competition. Greg is survived by his parents, Laura Pickering and husband, Jack, Dan Boadwine and wife, Tanya; brother, Brian and wife, Kacy; nephew, Wiliam; his grandfather, Dennis Turman; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home in Salem, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. A private family service will follow.
