Cova Carol 'Pretty Lady' Lephew

Cova Carol Pretty Lady LePhew, 72, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. She was a retired cake decorator having worked for Kroger for nearly 15 years. She also enjoyed playing the piano at the Body of Christ Church in Salem where her late husband had pastored. Preceding her in death were her parents, Rev. Ralph and Sadie Nester; husband, Rev. Paul H. LePhew; and children, Oren and Stephanie. Her surviving family includes her children, Gary, Michael (Shirley), Donald (Terry), Tony, and Melissa (Keith); 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley, Arlene, and Wayne. A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will then begin at 2 p.m., also in the chapel, with Rev. Michael Collins officiating. Interment will be private. An online guestbook is available at www.johnmoakey.com.
