Cora Ellen Walker

Cora Ellen Walker, 76, of Salem and formerly of Elliston, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. She was a member of the North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church in Roanoke. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ralph Barton and Elva Louise Radford; brother, Ralph Barton Radford, Jr.; granddaughter, Brittney Holleman; several nieces; and one nephew. Her surviving family includes her husband of 21 years, Russell Linwood Walker; stepchildren, Melissa Michelle Holleman, Mark Coleman, Guenther Walker, Peter Walker, and Juliana Walker; grandchildren, Rusty Shane Holleman, Danielle Holleman, and Andrew Walker; siblings, Gloria Louise Radford, Sylvia Ann Radford, James Robert Radford, and Bonnie Regina Radford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be private. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church at 4700 Northridge Lane in Roanoke, Va. 24019.
