Cora Bell Collins St. Clair Kirby of Roanoke, VA, a quiet Christian, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010. She was born on April 15, 1921 in Giles County, VA the daughter of Dave and Allie Williams Collins. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church in Salem. Preceding her in death were her husbands Wiley Henry St. Clair and Everett Hampton Kirby; and son-in-law, Wayne Keffer. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Keffer and Wilma Payne (Doug) of Salem; grandsons, Neil Cunningham (Amy) of Concord, NC, Kevin Keffer (Tina) of Roanoke, Kendall Keffer (Renae) of Salem; granddaughters, Karen Cunningham Moss (James) of Charlotte, NC, Kim Snead (Dave) of McKinney, TX; four great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday, October 18, 2010 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ivey Adams officiating. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at John M. Oakey and Son, Salem 540-389-5441. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 1601 Colorado Street, Salem, VA 24153.
