Connie G. Thomas

Connie G. Thomas, 76, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018. She was born in Vinton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie Vaughn Gregory and had been an area resident all her life. Connie retired from Medeco in 2013 following over 33 years of service and enjoyed going on evening drives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ten siblings. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Randall Thomas; a son, Gary Mike Johnson and wife Mette; a sister, Juanita Mitchell; a brother, Melvin Gregory and wife Peggy, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son, Salem. The Rev. Bobby Pickle will officiate. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
